Craftguide was founded in 2018 by Johannes Nies and Theo Strauß. The two founders are known for their startup and corporate experience, as well as real craft expertise. After studying industrial design, Johannes gained experience in successful startups. He worked on AI and predictive maintenance. At the same time, Theo made the experience that access to practical know-how in crafts was limited. In combining to opposite working realities craftguide was founded. The close connection to the craft and startup community supported the success of the company. With the help of experienced business angels, craftguide is now on the right track to empower workforces.
